What does your business look like in 90-180 days?
Tuesday, December 2nd @ 6:11 PM
I've got a question for you today. It's two parts. "If you could do anything in your business (or as a result of your business) in the next 90-180 days - what would it be? How about the next 2-5 years?". Part two of the question is: "What's holding you back?"
Would you like ...
- more time off with your family?
- a more flexible work schedule?
- to be able to travel? If so, where do you want to go and with whom?
- to write a book and be recognized as an authority in your marketplace? What would the book be about?
- to go on a mission trip and serve somebody less fortunate?
- to turn your annual income in 2008 into your monthly income by 2011? (yes, you read that right)
- to give as much away every year as you currently make? (now we're talking)
- to build deeper relationships and have more fun?
- to provide jobs for more people?
- to drive the car of your dreams
- to have more money at the end the month vs. more month at the end of the money?
- to ....????
I'd love to see your answers. Why do I want to know? Because I love to serve people ... and the more I know about your dreams and biggest challenges, the more I might be able to help by encouraging you, helping you make connections, and / or providing helpful resources.
To be honest I haven't always been good at asking these questions. Sometimes I start going off on a direction without really listening ... and at times I feel like I've failed you because of it.
But, failure is one step closer to success!

Over the weekend I finally sat down and read the book
"Go For No!", written by my friends Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz. The subtitle of the book is called "Yes is the destination, NO is how you get there".
I couldn't put it down and highly recommend it. In fact I'm sure I've got some more blog posts coming on the topic.
It asks the question, "If you could go into the future and talk with yourself...a smarter, bolder, less timid version of you...what would happen?"
Wow, this really struck home to me. Maybe it does for you too, and I think really relates to my question above.
I'd love to hear more about your dreams and what you want your business to look like, along with your biggest challenges and what's holding you back. i can't wait to read your comments below.
